Teaching is one of the most direct ways I know to contribute to a more coherent world. For many years I have taught both individuals and groups, and my approach has evolved toward a form of musical education that engages the whole person. Working with sound invites an open mind through curiosity and attention, an open heart through empathy and expression, and an open will through the courageous act of shaping something real in the world.

My task as a teacher is to stay grounded, receptive, and attuned to what each student brings, so that their musicianship can unfold from a place of steadiness and genuine connection. So that, in bringing together head, heart, and hand, their own flourishing can support the flourishing of the world.
